Gold and Metals Algo Trading

Gold algo trading on this desk means an Expert Advisor on XAUUSD or another metal CFD. Gold can move far against a late entry, so the robots here use a stop, a session window, or an equity lock instead of an open-ended grid.

XAUUSD quotes differ by broker (two digits or three). Point-based stops must match that quote. ATR-based stops adjust with volatility, which is why several metals EAs size the stop from ATR rather than a fixed pip number.

Silver (XAGUSD) is thinner than gold. If the spread filter fails, the EA should skip the bar. That is the intended behaviour, not a fault.
